Theories and Approaches to Language Acquisition offers a comprehensive review of theories and practices of second, foreign or other language acquisition and instruction. Current research findings in the field are analyzed as well as their implications for language learning and teaching.
EDUC 5591
This course introduces participants to international principles and practice of assessing language ability and engages participants in the debate on how to measure language fluency. A variety of national and global methods of language assessment are critically discussed in this course.
